The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States. 988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7 treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.
The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people.
The Trevor Project will connect you to a Trevor counselor who is understanding of LGBTQ issues and won’t judge you. Your conversation will be anonymous, and you can share as much or as little as you like.
